Skid Steer Tires

SCROLL DOWN

Skid Steer Tires

By the very name, the nature of this machine is to skid. Which is extremely hard on tires. Skid steer tires are used in all types of applications from scrap yards and trash transfer facilities, to recycling stations of glass, steel, paper & plastics and in the demolition arena.

SOLID FLOATATION TIRES

SETCO was the first to manufacture and market a solid floatation tire, allowing the skid steer to have floatation capabilities as well as the advantages and protection of a solid skid steer tire. SETCO offers skid steer tires in custom specifications to lower height and reduce width to allow the skid steer to work in restricted areas.

ADVANTAGES OF SOLID SKID STEER TIRES

SETCO skid steer tires are compression molded for more durability and longevity. The Soft Ride Tires and or Air Ride Tires skid steer tires offer a tremendously better ride than operators are used to in the past with conventional skid steer tires. SETCO manufacturers the softest flat proof skid steer tires in the industry, with more pushing power, load capacity and reliability. SETCO skid steer tires, lasting 3 to 5 times longer combined with durability, traction and proven performance, are the most cost effective skid steer tires available.

Loader Tires

Loader Tires

SETCO tires for front end loaders are extremely durable, allowing versatility of the machine by enabling the machine to work in tough areas where otherwise, without SETCO non-pneumatic tires, those tough areas would be inaccessible. SETCO’s front end loaders tires are guaranteed to provide a lower cost per hour with no catastrophic tire failures. SETCO’s exclusive rubber compound used in manufacturing solid tires for front end loaders, utilizing a shredded wire mixture with 70,000 lb tensile strength, enhances traction and durability in wet and abusive environments where front end loader tires are at the most peril. A variety of traction tread designs are available for individual applications of front end loader solid tires. SETCO tires for front end loaders provide a greater footprint that produces more pushing capacity for the front end loader and maximizes the machine’s performance. All of these factors and advantages of SETCO tires for front end loaders simply increases productivity for the machine and increase the bottom line. SETCO Soft Ride Tires and Air Ride Tires minimize stress on the operator and the loader, resulting in a cushioned ride unheard of for non-pneumatics tires in the industry.

Crane Tires

Crane Tires

More than 50% of crane material handlers sold in the United States today are of the wheeled variety as opposed to track models.

Rubber tired wheeled machines are more versatile, typically requiring less maintenance and are less damaging to improved road and yard surfaces. SETCO solid rubber tires and rims on a material handler will provide the durability and puncture resistance required to survive in a scrap yard environment. SETCO crane tires on smaller cranes, with dual tires, can achieve up to 20,000 hours of operation. On larger solid crane tires, tire life has historically been 10,000 hours of service with SETCO solid rubber tires, with up to 20,000 hours depending on the operation. Due to the abusive environment that solid tires are exposed to in scrap yards, operators have found that SETCO Solid Tires are really the only option. With SETCO solid tires used in a crane tire application, fear of premature failures is gone. Keeping the roadway or path well maintained eliminates unnecessary abuse to solid rubber tires as well as the equipment and will achieve maximum crane tire life. Because wear patterns are predictable, operators can calculate cost per ton or per hour relative to solid tire costs. Operator comfort and machine fatigue are greatly improved with the incorporation of air holes in a softer compound of rubber. This advancement has yielded a far superior ride to that of the older style solid tires, currently riding similar to a foam filled tire.

ADVANTAGES OF SOLID CRANE TIRES

Conventional or pneumatic tires, even if foam filled, can be a nightmare of expense if mounted on a material handler. One wrong turn or even a “stroll” through the yard on what some might consider a clean path can result in total tire failures. SETCO solid rubber tires have the ability to absorb contact with the same devastating debris with only minor cuts or abrasions.

Backhoes

Backhoes

Backhoe Tires

Solid rubber tires for backhoes are the ideal solution by providing traction and increased pushing power. The versatility of using a backhoe to push and tamp is important as well as the stability when loading. SETCO solid tires for backhoes are guaranteed to rebuild which reduces the cost of the backhoe tires since you only have to buy the rim one time. The rims are manufactured with A36 steel, combined with an exclusive rubber compound that is compression molded, which provides extremely long life, insures NO flats, No failures and No downtime with SETCO solid tires for backhoes. The Soft Ride Tire assembly offers a cushioned ride backhoe tire, with more comfort for the operator and less stress on the backhoe. With a softer ride, less stress, durability and proven performance from SETCO solid tires for backhoes, there’s no reason not to put SETCO solid rubber tires in your operation today.

Forklift Tires

Forklift Tires

There are so many advantages to solid rubber forklift tires. SETCO solid forklift tires are manufactured with a long lasting rubber compound throughout the entire forklift tire and have more usable rubber as well. SETCO manufactures a super single solid forklift tire that takes the place of conventional tires in a dual application. By doubling the width of the solid forklift tire, the load capacity is increased and the void between tires is eliminated. By eliminating this dead space on SETCO’s solid forklift tires, SETCO diminishes the danger of debris being caught up and causing damage to the solid forklift tire. All these features add up to no flats and no failures with SETCO solid forklift tires, which make it the most cost effective solid forklift tire available.

Haul Truck Tires

Haul Truck Tires

SETCO haul truck tires have increased strength in the rims as well as the rubber compounds. SETCO’s non-pneumatic tires are built to replace Budd or Dayton style wheels. Haul truck tires manufactured by SETCO eliminate problems due to the void between a common dual haul tire set up. SETCO’s Super Single haul truck tires are uniquely designed to do away with the dead space between conventional dump truck tires. By eliminating the void, the risk of debris being caught between the haul truck tires is gone. With this hazard eliminated, SETCO reduces the danger of premature failure in our haul truck tires and increases the overall longevity of SETCO’s flat proof tires. All of these factors decrease the cost per hour of the equipment and haul truck tires.
